Our approach

Through our support workers we aim to give individuals the information, advice and skills they need to live independently - often for the first time.  Our approach to providing supported housing services is based on successful practices from around the country, and feedback from residents in surveys and Continuous Improvement Groups.

This is what we will do

  • You will hear from us within a week of being referred for support.
  • Your support worker will always keep any appointments they make with you
  • Together you and your support worker will agree a support plan, including specific goals for you to aim for.  You will receive a copy of the plan within two weeks and we will review it at least every six months
  • When you move in we will give you a welcome pack including a copy of the house rules, contact details, details of your support worker's role and adult protection information.  (This does not apply to the Floating Support service)
  • We will provide support right through the "move on" period, which lasts between six and eight weeks
  • We will hold monthly house meetings at our supported accommodation
  • We will act on your behalf for all tenancy support issues
