Key Worker Housing

Key Worker Living is a government initiative to help key workers buy or rent a property suitable for their needs.  Drum works with Swaythling Housing Society, who are the zone representatives for South East Key Worker Partnership.

Key Workers are those who work in the following sectors although this list is not exhaustive and can change in line with Government guidelines:

• Teachers

• Prison service

• Probation service

• Local authority social workers

• Local authority occupational therapists

• Local authority speech & language therapists

• Local authority employed clinical staff

• Local authority educational psychologists

• Police officers
