Our History
Drum Housing Group (as Drum Housing Association was known until October 2002) was born out of the partnership between Hangras and East Hampshire Housing Associations.
East Hampshire Housing Association (EHHA) was the larger landlord and provided all the housing management, care and property maintenance services within the Group.
Hangras Housing Association's role was to provide new homes and housing related services through a range of non-charitable schemes and new initiatives.
Drum Housing Group, unlike EHHA and Hangras which were Industrial and Provident Societies, was a Housing Company - the first to be set up under the Housing Act 1996.
